iChrome is proud to announce a new Direct Integration Node (*) to CADfix as part of Nexus.
This allows CADfix users to leverage the advanced features of CADfix to repair and prepare CAD models, removing barriers that may prevent the use of pre-existing solid models within integrated and automated design process software such as Nexus.
CADfix provides an extensive set of geometry manipulation tools for importing CAD/CAM/CAE data, repairing, simplifying and conditioning the geometry for different analysis applications, before exporting the data in the most suitable form for reuse in the downstream system. The CADfix solution forms an ideal link between the different CAD and CAE nodes within Nexus.
Andy Chinn, Business Development Manager of ITI TranscenData Europe, explains “ITI and iChrome have many common customers already using both the Nexus and CADfix software as part of their engineering analysis and optimization processes. The integration of CADfix within the Nexus software framework will be of benefit to our mutual customers, enabling CADfix to provide state of the art geometry translation and analysis preparation capabilities within the fully automated Nexus CAD to CAE workflow process.“
